Lizard Joe's Hotel Bar & Grill, coming to Chelem, Yucatan Mexico.

Here's an update on Lizard Joes located in Chelem, Yucatan Mexico. Two years ago we incorporated Lizard Joes and purchased almost 10k sq ft of property in the town of Chelem, Yucatan, Mexico with about 45 ft of beach front. We found an architect and now have a contractor ready to build Lizard Joes Hotel, Bar & Restaurant. We had hoped to break ground in early 2008, however still have things to finish up in Texas, like sell our house! So, it will probably be sometime in 2009! We plan to build as much of Lizard Joes as our existing funds will permit. We are excited about the future we are investing in for our family and friends. Lizardjoes is our dream! Soon it will become a reality! We welcome investors.

The Vision

Beach Bar and Grill with seating for 75 - 100 persons specializing in tequila, Texas BBQ and the sounds of Joe King Carrasco ay ay ay
The Hotel will feature a large reception area with paperback book library, Internet Cafe, gift & sundries shop and a total of ten guest rooms above the beach bar. There will be a pool available for hotel and restaurant guests as well as an outdoor community kitchen for hotel guests only. All rooms will contain either one king size bed or two full size beds, a sleeper sofa, bath tub, mini kitchen (microwave, coffee pot, sink, undercounter fridge), small table and air conditioning. Nearby cities and towns are Merida, Progreso, Chuburna, Sisal, Chicxulub Meteorite Crater, Uaymitun.
